Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Luvset platform. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Luvset (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that these conditions are met.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately at legal@luvset.com if you suspect unauthorised access
  • Take responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.

4. The Service

Luvset is a relationship growth platform. Features include:

  • Structured check-ins with blind reveal (responses are hidden from all partners until every member has submitted)
  • AI-powered insights (background reflection built from derived context, plus optional AI tools for drafting and refining)
  • Boundaries (create, share, and acknowledge personal boundaries within your relationships)
  • Agreements (collaborative relationship agreements with version history)
  • Goals (shared and personal goals tracked across your relationship)
  • Journal (personal entries visible only to you; shared entries visible only to the relationship members you create them in)

Luvset is multi-partner by design. It is built to work for couples, throuples, and constellations of any size. ENM, CNM, solo poly, and relationship anarchy are first-class structures within the platform.

5. Subscription Plans

Luvset offers the following subscription tiers (prices in USD):

Constellation $15.99/mo Full features for up to 4 partners

Payer-covers-partners billing model. A single account holder is billed for the Dyad or Constellation plan. Each partner retains their own sovereign Luvset account and receives access through a seat assignment. There is no per-seat billing.

Annual plans. Annual billing is available at 3 months off (pay for 9, get 12). You can switch to annual billing from your account settings. Changes take effect at the next billing date.

Early Adopter pricing. Members who join via the waitlist lock in Early Adopter pricing for life. These prices never increase, even as we add features. Early Adopter monthly prices are $5.99/mo (Solo), $8.99/mo (Dyad), and $12.99/mo (Constellation). Annual Early Adopter prices are $53.99/yr (Solo), $80.99/yr (Dyad), and $116.99/yr (Constellation).

Subscriptions are managed via Qonversion and processed through the App Store or Google Play. Standard (non-Early-Adopter) prices may change with notice, as described in Section 15.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your device's subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with App Store or Google Play policies

Subscription limits are enforced server-side. We do not rely on the client to enforce access controls.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service ("User Content"), including check-in responses, journal entries, boundaries, agreements, and goals.

By using the Service, you grant Luvset a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

  • We encrypt sensitive User Content at rest using AES-256-GCM
  • We don't share your User Content with third parties for advertising or training purposes
  • Personal journal entries are visible only to you. Shared journal entries are visible only to the relationship members you create them in. Both are enforced at the database level
  • AI processing is governed by Section 8

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate the rights of others or these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or your partners through the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means
  • Attempt to access another user's data without authorisation
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
  • Violate any applicable law in your use of the Service
  • Circumvent any security, encryption, or access control mechanism

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including account suspension, for any violation.

8. AI Features

Luvset uses AI features powered by Anthropic Claude, operated entirely on our servers.

  • All AI processing is server-side only (the AI is never accessed directly from your device)
  • Background reflection (check-in summaries, journal themes, mood patterns): we send only derived context (sentiment, themes, structure), never your raw responses
  • AI tools you actively invoke (drafting, refining text, extracting action items): the AI sees only the specific text you've asked it to work on, for the duration of that request
  • No training: Anthropic does not train on data sent through our API, and we don't retain it for training either
  • Per-category control: each AI category can be turned off independently in AI Preferences. When turned off, that category does not run
  • AI-generated content (prompts, reflections, suggestions) is intended for personal growth and reflection only; it is not professional therapy, counselling, or medical advice
  • AI usage is subject to fair-use limits per subscription tier. When limits are reached, the Service continues to function with curated non-AI prompts

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and materials produced by Luvset (including the Luvset brand, visual system, and platform) are owned by Luvset or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

11. Disclaimers

  • Not therapy or professional advice (Luvset is a personal growth tool. It is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, legal advice, or medical care. Use at your own risk)
  • Provided "as is" (the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement)
  • No guarantee of availability (we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service)
  • Relationship outcomes (Luvset does not guarantee any particular outcome in your relationships)

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luvset and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. On deletion, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you after the fact.

On termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

If you are located in the EU or UK, nothing in this clause affects your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
