Luvset ("we", "us", or "our") builds tools for relationship growth. This policy explains how we handle your data inside the app.
1. What We Collect
When you use Luvset, we store:
- Account information, your email address and display name
- Profile data, pronouns, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship structure, bio, birthday, love languages, communication preferences, and ENM experience (all optional)
- Relationship data, check-in responses, boundaries, agreements, goals
- Journal entries, visible only to you, never to partners
- Usage analytics, anonymised events (features used, session duration) via PostHog
- Inferred location, country/region derived from your IP at account creation
2. How Your Data Is Protected
Your data is encrypted in the application layer using AES-256-GCM. Key details:
- Each relationship has its own encryption key. Data from one relationship can't leak to another
- Each user has their own encryption key for personal data and journals
- Blind reveal: check-in responses are hidden from all partners until everyone has submitted. Enforced at the database level
- Journal privacy: your journals are never visible to partners. Enforced at the database level
3. How AI Uses Your Data
Luvset uses Anthropic Claude for AI-powered insights. We run all AI processing on our servers. We never send your raw check-in responses or personal details to Anthropic.
We only send derived context (for example, the sentiment or theme of a session) to generate prompts and insights. Your words stay on our servers.
4. Who We Share Data With
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the following service providers:
- Supabase, database and authentication
- Vercel, hosting
- Resend, email
- Qonversion, subscriptions
- PostHog, analytics
- Sentry, error tracking
- Anthropic, AI insights (derived context only)
5. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. On deletion:
- All your data is encrypted with a key generated for you
- You receive the key. Luvset does not retain it
- After 7 days, the key is destroyed and the data becomes permanently unrecoverable
- We retain encrypted rows for audit purposes only
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Email us at privacy@luvset.com to make a request.
7. Changes
We'll update this policy when needed. We'll notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes.
